4 Rivers Smokehouse and The COOP have dedicated the four remaining Thursdays in July as fundraising days to support Black youth scholarship programs in Florida. A percentage of proceeds from sales at all 4 Rivers Smokehouses as well as The COOP in Winter Park on July 9, 16, 23 and 30 will be used to establish scholarship funds designated to help make education more affordable for Black youths in Florida.

“In the wake of recent events, our 4R family wanted to do something tangible to stand up against racial inequality,” said John Rivers, Founder/CEO of 4R Restaurant Group. “We felt education was an appropriate area for us to contribute to the Black community, since the needs are great and it has always been one of our key areas of passion and focus. We’re excited to designate these four Thursdays in July as fundraising days and hope our loyal 4R Guests will help support this worthy cause in a big way.”

The fundraisers include direct sales from all dine-in, to-go and catering orders placed with 4 Rivers and The COOP on July 9, 16, 23 and 30.
