4 Rivers Smokehouse is bringing its brisket, pulled pork and burnt ends to Daytona Beach.
The restaurant will open this winter in a 6,500-square-foot space at One Daytona, a retail and entertainment complex across from Daytona International Speedway. The 4 Rivers is going into the former Oklahoma Joe’s space at 1866 Victory Circle, according to One Daytona spokeswoman Gentry Baumline-Robinson.
The new restaurant will create about 50 jobs.
4 Rivers was established in 2009 in Winter Park and has 14 locations in Florida and Georgia.
“Never have there been more 4 Rivers fans rallying for their own Smokehouse than in the greater Daytona Beach area,” 4R Restaurant Group founder and CEO John Rivers said in a press release. “The new location will provide a great opportunity to not only serve them, but also partner with International Speedway Corporation, a company that shares our passion for giving back to the community.”
The 4R Food Truck will also serve food at One Daytona events before the restaurant opens. Those events will include Funtoberfest on Oct. 12, Biketoberfest Oct. 17-20 and a monthly car show on Nov. 2.
