The Tallahassee Democrat was on the scene as our newest Tallahassee location opened its doors. Arriving two hours before the rush, Chef John Rivers calmly embraced the opening of his 9th Smokehouse in his former home of Tallahassee. Being an alumni of FSU, he proudly said, “…this city is so endearing to me. It supported me. It welcomed me. It got me through.
