Meet Our 2024 Recipients

At 4R Restaurant Group, our commitment to community extends beyond our Smokehouses and into the lives of those we serve. Each year we gift the 4R Scholarship to twenty team members who are pursuing higher education. The 4R Scholarship is for “well-rounded” team members who have demonstrated a commitment to learning and living our Core Values both inside and outside of work. 

Let’s take a moment to get to know a few of the outstanding scholars who have achieved this scholarship:

Branden Salce – Kissimmee
Valencia College | Major: STEM
“Branden is a shining example of dedication and perseverance. As noted by his GM, Morgan, Branden manages to balance working full-time with his studies, consistently showing kindness and reliability. His scholarship will help alleviate some of the financial stress he faces, and we are proud to support him on his academic journey.”
Cara Pouk – Gainesville
Santa Fe College | Major: Radiology
“Cara’s dream of becoming a radiology nurse is rooted in a deep desire to help others feel better. Her heartfelt essay reflects her commitment to making a positive impact in healthcare. We are excited to support Cara as she works towards her goal of helping people through radiology.”
Hannah Sandifer – SODO

Hope Wagner – Winter Garden
University of Central Florida | Major: Environmental Studies
“Since hiring Hope last July, she continues to amaze us with her maturity for her young age, and her sense of pride she takes in doing her job.  Hope is not one to get easily frazzled, she handles guest situations with honesty, humility, and with sincere care.  Hope is a natural leader and shows us daily the leadership qualities she possesses.  Her desire to learn and grow by asking for feedback, questions about the “why” behind our systems, and the positive changes she can make.  Every day Hope shows up to work, she is professionally dressed in her uniform, has a positive attitude, truly cares for the well-being of the team, and treats every day with great importance. Hope is such an amazing team player- she is willing to help any station without being asked or with any hesitation.  Hope is the definition of one of our Core Values: Creativity.  She loves to be involved in all our holiday decorating, team activities, making special flyers, and decorating our 4R chalkboard to match the seasons.  Hope is a wonderful individual and a valued team member who always goes the extra mile no matter the situation. “
